Bastin produces packaging for the food industry. Following investments we have grown in recent years and are therefore looking for a full-time operator on one of our new production lines.
In this position you operate one of the cutting machines after internal training. You are responsible for the final check of the printed foil.
Finally, you are responsible for the work environment, you follow the safety guidelines and the required standards regarding food safety.

Profile

• You are dynamic and have a technical education.
• You preferably have experience, but it is especially important that you are interested in a technical profession and have an aptitude for it.
• You are driven, independent and can work qualitatively. In addition, you will focus on efficient and high-quality production.
• You are eager to learn and you are constantly looking to improve the process, quality and output.

Jobrelated competentions

• Make simple adjustments on machines for finishing and routing (folding machine, cutting machine, gluing machine, ...) or for packaging (applying film, ...)
• Indicating non-qualitative products or taking them to the designated areas (waste, recycling, ...)
• Perform manual finishing and routing operations
• Remove finished products from the machine and check the quality
• Supply the workstation with materials and products or check the supplies
